Alessi Blender – Plisse Black

Alessi’s Plissé blender boasts a dynamic, sculptural design inspired by the worlds of fashion and architecture. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the blender has a unique surface texture that resembles pleated fabric – it is simply too beautiful to be kept hidden in the kitchen cabinet! The blender’s 1.5-liter jug is made of high-quality PCTG plastic, an extremely durable but lightweight material: although the jug resembles glass in appearance, it is actually a lot lighter than a glass jug. The airtight lid of the jug comes with a convenient measuring cup; by removing the cup, it is possible to add ingredients even when the appliance is running. The blender has five speed settings and a pulse function. The device’s two safety sensors prevent it from switching on if the jug is not properly in place and its lid is not tightly closed.
